Style Crush - Pretty Little Liars

*L-R Hanna, Aria, Spencer, Emily*

I don't watch enormous amounts of TV
but if there is one show I NEVER miss it's PRETTY LITTLE LIARS

I'm not sure which season MTV is on because I cheat and watch it online
but if you don't already tune in seriously think about catching up!
If not for the amazing (very creepy) story lines, then for the fashion!

There are 4 gorgeous main characters in the show and they all have their own  individual (and expensive) styles

Aria Montgomery
Played by Lucy Hale

Aria is a bit of a hippy and has quite an eclectic look
You will usually see her in dresses and skirts
and she LOVES accessories
(the necklace below is from House of Harlow)
and she has the most amazing collection of Jeffrey Campbell's ever!

Emily Fields
Played by Shay Mitchell

Emily is the sporty one of the group. She is the master of casual!
In my opinion she is probably the least inspirational in terms of fashion
She is usually just rocking jeans and a T-Shirt
but she is so beautiful that she pulls it off!

Spencer Hastings
Played by Troian Bellisario

Spencer's style would definitely be described as preppy!
she loves a twin set and pearls but she makes it look modern
She is classic, elegant and sophisticated
(3 things I am most definitely not lolol)

Hanna Marin
Played by Ashley Benson

Last but not least my favourite little liar Hanna
She is the most girly of the group
and she loves a colourful blazer!
She isn't afraid to mix and match patterns
and she's blonde <3

and if the girls aren't enough to get you to tune in
maybe the boys will change your mind....

Does anyone else watch PLL?
Who is your favourite character?

All That Glitters...Is Not Gold

I don't know if I have told you guys this before
but I am an absolute accessories WHORE

I can't walk past a jewellery stand without lusting over something
So I was so excited when I went into Dorothy Perkins to see that they had a massive jewellery sale on!

There were loads of cool little pieces starting from £1
It would have been rude not to pick at least a few things up...right?

I got this ring (like I said before OBSESSED with crosses)
I think it was like £1.50

And I got this earring and cuff which I LOVE
The earring part is a little love heart shaped peace sign
(I'm also really into peace signs as well right now)
I'm sure this one was only £2

I got a really nice multi-chain gold necklace as well but I've left it at the boyf's

Not sure how long the sale is going on for but it's deffo worth heading down to your nearest Dot P's to check it out!

NOTD

Just a quick NOTD

recently I have become OBSESSED with crosses
I have totally bought into the recent trend, clothes, jewellery so I thought, why not nails?

So here are my cross nails
(my gran will go mental if she sees them, apparently it's blasphemy lol)

I just used Barry M Black (of which I found 6 bottles in my drawer WTF?!)
and a Technic Nail Art Pen in Gold

Anyone else loving all things crossy just now?
*pretty sure that's not a real word...*

That's Why Her Hairs So Big...It's Full Of Secrets

So for Christmas I asked Santa for a Babyliss Big Hair
but for one reason or another it got dumped at the back of my wardrobe
unloved and forgotten about.
Until the other day when I was having a clear out and found the little beauty

Babyliss say:
Big Hair gives you hair that's shiny, sexy and totally fabulous. It's the bigger, the better when it comes to fashionable hair, and Big Hair will give you that beautiful on-trend look.

I say:
Well I haven't really been blessed in the hair department
It's shorter than I would like it to be
It's really thin
and also poker straight
(I know some people would love that but you always want what you can't have eh!)

So the bigger I can get my hair the better
I am constantly on the hunt for the latest volumising products
And this is one of the best I have found!

It is basically a brush with a rotating head that blows out either hot or cold air.
Once you get the hang of which way you want it to rotate
(Im not very good with my rights and lefts lol typical dumb blonde)
It's really easy to use!

How I use it:
Once I have washed my hair
I use a heat defence spray, right now I'm using a TRESemme one
Then I use Fat Hair Thickening Spray on my roots
before I blow-dry my hair upside down
When my hair is about 90% dry
I section it and let big hair work its magic

The trick is to pull up from the root to get as much volume as possible
I've been really happy with the results it has given me
and I have made a promise to myself to start using it more and not let it gather dust again

I found it works really well on my hair length as it turns the ends under nicely
but it would obviously create a very different look on longer styles
Has anyone else used this?
What did you think of it?

Im in Ibiza bitch!

Well I was... and I wish I could go back

I was an Ibiza virgin before this trip and I wasn't really sure what to expect
but it was one of the most amazing places I've ever been

Such a good atmosphere
amazing people
and brilliant music

and look at this for a sunset

Watching this sunset has got to be my best Ibiza memory
When the sun finally goes down everyone starts clapping
proper goosebump moment!

Heres a few OOTD pics from The White Isle

Anyone else going to Ibiza this year?
Or any other holiday resorts to recommend?

DIY Peplum Top

So...After an extremely long hiatus
(I won't bore you with the details)

I'm so happy to be back to the world of blogging

I decided to do a little DIY project today

A few years back I bought this dress in Matalan

Its a tight pencil dress that falls just below the knee
I accidentally bought a size too small and have never managed to squeeze my fat ass into it
I thought, no point in wasting it

So I gave my little dress a new lease of life

I turned it into a peplum top
If I had known it was actually going to work I would have taken more pictures during the process!

I'm really happy with the outcome
but unfortunately it still doesn't fit me
so i'm going to give it to my friend
Hopefully it stays in one piece if she wears it lol
